On the other hand, giving $5.00 to ffmpeg will no doubt create good will, and it might be worth saying, for example, for every sale, I donate 10 percent to ffmpeg. If you do get an OSX version on Amazon and only sell a few, then I don't think it really matters one way or the other. And shucks, if this makes you lots of money, then yeah, I think you should probably donate to ffmpeg, but again, it's your decision, not someone else's.
